Spotlight Athlete of the Month | ERIC BOWE

By: 0

Eric moved to the neighborhood last summer and quickly came in to CFE to try a class. We still remember it. The workout kicked off with a one mile run followed by a dizzying amount of power cleans and bar facing burpees. From that moment on Eric hasn’t looked back.

In the last ten months Eric has officially completed over 200 CrossFit classes. Think about that for a second… since last summer, Eric has challenged himself in uncomfortable workouts just about every 2 out of 3 days. Small disciplines repeated with consistency every day lead to great achievements gained slowly over time. Eric epitomizes that mindset. He’s a hard worker, supportive of those around him, an all around good dude and we’re 99% convinced he moved here by Viking long ship.  Read on to learn a little more about Eric from Eric himself.

What do you do outside of CrossFit?

For work I am a Senior Manager of FP&A.  For fun I generally enjoy being outside; running, hiking, swimming, or riding my motorcycle.

I played a lot of hockey and football growing up, played in the New England Football League for about 4 years, and then took up running about 5 years ago.

What made you choose CFE?
We moved to NH about a year ago now and I searched online, saw the great reviews and reached out to give it a shot and have not looked back.

To make fitness part of my life indefinitely and show my kids the importance of good health and fitness, so hopefully they follow that path.
